PUBLIC SECTOR REAL ESTATE TRANSACTION SERVICES

The principals of WPI have completed more than 75 transactions for approximately 3,500,000 square feet of public sector leases and sales. These transactions have included both government and landlord representations and are in addition to various consulting assignments for government agencies.

  • Assessing government space requirements and existing contract/financial obligations,
  • Analyzing, planning and developing of budgets, and pre-negotiation strategy.
  • Preparing solicitations (RFP's & RFQ's), and follow-up comments,
  • Leading the negotiation processes and development of alternatives,
  • Completing government contract negotiations - obtaining full approvals and signatures,
  • Assisting with the management of the government contracts,
  • Developing appropriate file documentation for all tasks performed.
  • Providing project oversight for all aspects of a proposed development or investment,
  • Identifying locations and properties best suited to meet client objectives,
  • Identifying and engaging the most suitable architectural/engineering, construction and consulting firms for the proposed project,
  • Securing private sector financing,
  • Managing facilities and multiple property assets for long-term operations and investment.

  • Holdover Leases and standstill agreements
  • Prospectus lease and Capital Lease determinations

  • Lease audits and abstracting
  • Tenant Improvement design and construction supervision/project management
  • Protests and Contracting Officer (legal) decisions
  • Alternate procurement strategies (including low price decisions, award factor, source selection and RFQ procurements)
